Have your Sweets & Eat them too! So many new trends in sweets these days there is no need to feel trapped into having just a cake. From gelato bars, nitrogen ice cream made on the spot, mini desserts, action dessert stations, butler passed ice cream cones & freshly made donuts with coffee really show the sky is the limit for sweets. One of my ultimate favorite indugences is Sweet! in Waterford Lakes, they have the best mini cupcakes. Even when it isn’t wedding time they offer Mini Mondays where these delights are only $1! They can customize cupcakes to your wedding colors, add monograms and much more. Why settle for just one flavor of cake when you can have a cascade of cupcakes!

Chocolate & Wine Girls night! What a perfect idea for a bachelorette, shower and just a girls night. Farris and Fosters in Baldwin Park is where we hosted our chocolate night and had a wonderful time. You make a pound of chocolate (all calorie and fat free of course) and use your creative juices to create masterpieces.
I made truffles, peanut cups, my own version of mounds and my favorite, dark chocolate covered potato chips! It was a perfect setting for the girls to laugh enjoy a glass (or two) or wine and brie which you are allowed to bring in your own. We felt just like Lucy and Ethel in the chocolate shop, only our creations came out much better. If your creative juices just aren’t flowing you can always buy the fabulous pre-made candies and claim them as your own!
